ADILABAD: M. Mallikarjun Naik, Project Officer of Utnoor’s Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) on Saturday assured tribals that funds are no bar for providing medicare to them. He appealed members of Kolam tribe to take recourse to allopathic medicine instead of depending on treatments that are based on superstitions. At an awareness camp convened by the ITDA at Gouwi Kolamguda of Jainoor mandal, the Project Officer said the ITDA will conduct any number of medical camps in interior areas. He said because the members of the tribe was seeped in superstitious traditions, more of their members die during epidemics. He wanted them to approach doctors in case of illnesses.
