Gold and valuables looted

A motorcyclist robbed a woman of the gold and other valuables she took from a bank locker in Akkayyapalem on Friday evening.

In a complaint with the four-town police, P. Sravani Kumari, who works as a teacher in a convent school in one-town, said the unidentified youth snatched a bag containing 12 tholas of gold, Rs.4,000, cell phone, credit card and cheque book when she was returning from a cooperative bank.
