NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi will soon make it mandatory for all employees to make the switch to biometric system of attendance. The new system will start from August 1 at all offices located at the MCD Headquarters in Town Hall and the Commissioner’s Office Complex in Ambedkar Stadium. Leading the employees in this effort to reinforce punctuality and regularity in the Corporation is Municipal Commissioner K.S. Mehra. According to a statement issued by the MCD here on Saturday, the Commissioner will also use the biometric system of attendance while arriving at and departing from the office.
