Yeddyurappa holds meet with officials

Bangalore: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Saturday held a meeting with senior officials of the Home Department aimed at finalising a new near foolproof plan for the safety of the people of Bangalore in particular and of the State in general.

Mr. Yeddyurappa told The Hindu that the police were working on certain specific leads relating to serial blasts that rattled Bangalore on Friday.

The Chief Minister, who was to have left on a tour of Shimoga and Davangere by train, cancelled his trip following the blasts in Gujarat on Saturday.
