Anitha bags a double

VIJAYAWADA: Krishna’s K. Anitha Devi won the discus and shot put events in the girls’ under-20 segment in the rain-marred AP junior athletic meet at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium here on Sunday.

Boys: U-20: Discus: 1. K. Durga Rao (Kri) 34.43m, 2. Vishal (Hyd) 28.89m, 3. M. Sekhar (Adilabad) 23.20m; Shot put: 1. M. Ganesh Babu (Vizag) 13.90m, 2. A. Naresh (Vizag) 13.14m, 3. D. Venkat (K. Nagar) 10.32m.
