Stage set for CAB elections

KOLKATA: The stage is set for a battle royal to control the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) for the next one year. The annual general meeting of the association, slated for Tuesday, will see incumbent president Prasun Mukherjee being challenged by former chief Jagmohan Dalmiya.

The panels:

Dalmiya panel: President: Jagmohan Dalmiya; Vice-presidents: Samar Kar, Shibaji Dutta and Shiv Kumar Kalyani; Joint secretaries: Arun Mitra and Biswarup Dey; Treasurer: Bablu Ganguly.

Mukherjee panel: President: Prasun Mukherjee; Vice-presidents: Indranath Dey, Arijit Roy and Prodyut Bose; Joint secretaries: Samar Paul and Amitava Banerjee; Treasurer: Tushar Sarkar. — Special Correspondent
