Modi orders cctv cameras in hospitals

GANDHINAGAR: Shocked by the terror attacks on the hospitals, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has ordered installation of closed circuit television cameras in all the government hospitals and their parking zones in all the major cities and towns in the State immediately.

The Health Minister and the Cabinet spokesman, Jaynarayan Vyas, said the decision was taken on Tuesday. All the government hospitals were issued the instruction to take immediate steps to install the cameras to keep a check on the movements of suspicious-looking people and explosive materials.
