Hyderabad: Forum Nokia- USID Design Challenge 2008, a national design challenge is being organised jointly by USID Foundation and Forum Nokia for professionals and students at Hotel Leela Kempinski, Bangalore from September 4 to 6. Theme of the challenge is ‘Design a mobile application to empower the farming community of India’. Participants will have to design a user-friendly application that could help in agricultural productivity and socio- economic development of rural population. Three winners from student and professional category will be awarded products/gadgets worth Rs. 1,60,000. Registrations will be open from July 31 and entries will be accepted till August 17.
