Man electrocuted at Ramoji Film City

HYDERABAD: An equipment assistant P. Saidulu got electrocuted while his co-worker Ravinder, 25, suffered burns during the shooting of a film at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Ramoji Film City in Hayathnagar. The two employees were carrying a light when electricity passed through it resulting in serious burns to them. Both were rushed to a nearby private hospital where doctors pronounced Saidulu dead. Ravinder was admitted as in-patient. No case was registered till late in the night as the victim’s family members living in Nalgonda did not arrive. “Based on the complaint received from his family members, we’ll register a case,” the Hayathnagar Inspector N. Narsimha Reddy said.
