Venkatesh Nayak Mohandas dead

KOZHIKODE: Venkatesh Nayak Mohandas, who owns the VNM group of institutions, died at his residence at Bilathikulam here on Tuesday late evening. He was 75.

He was the State president of Bullion Dealers Association.

The jewellery shops in the district downed their shutters from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday in deference to the deceased. He is survived by wife, two sons and two daughters. The last rites were held on Wednesday. — Staff Reporter
