KOZHIKODE: The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind-Kerala has criticised the reported proposal of the Law Reforms Committee that a fine of Rs.10,000 would be imposed on couples who had more than two children. Organisation State general secretary M.K. Mohammed Ali said the idea mooted does not take into consideration the historical background and ought to be brushed aside as untenable.
