MADURAI: The level in the Periyar dam on Thursday stood at 126.6 feet (136 feet) with an inflow of 3962 cusecs and a discharge of 1475 cusecs.

The level in the Vaigai dam was 61.12 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 1270 cusecs and a discharge of 41 cusecs. The combined Periyar-Vaigai credit stood at 4295 mcft. Periyar dam recorded a rainfall of 21 mm, followed by Thekkady - 20.
