Kalpa Druma art fest

Kalpa Druma, committed to preserving and nurturing traditional Indian crafts, arts and artistes, presents its third annual festival, Kalpa Druma Arts & Artists, dedicated to the memory of their founder K.S. Parameswaran.

The fest opens at Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium, Mylapore, on August 9, 6.30 p.m. with Sanjay Subramaniam’s concert.

He will be accompanied by S. Varadarajan (violin), Thanjavur Ramdas (mridangam) and K. V. Mahadevan (kanjira).

On August 10, 6.30 p.m., the concert will feature vocalist Sreevalson Menon with M.A.Sundaresan on the violin, Umayalpuram Sivaraman on the mridangam and B. Shreesundarkumar on the kanjira.
