PMK cadres arrested

TIRUPATTUR: PMK cadres were arrested for planning a two-day hunger strike on the Krishnagiri Main Road here on Thursday. However, according to the police, permission was denied. Tirupattur MLA Raja said that he called for the hunger strike to urge the State government to bifurcate Tirupattur from Vellore and declare it a separate district.
