Apollo Hospitals profit up in Q1

CHENNAI: Apollo Hospitals Enterprise (AHEL) has reported a turnover of Rs. 332.90 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2008, a growth of 28.3 per cent over the corresponding period last year. The net profit after tax before other income has risen by 24.9 per cent. AHEL has added 264 new pharmacies during the 12 month period. — Corporate Reporter
