MADURAI: Thirunavukarasar Music Research and Education Trust will organise Thevaram recitation, painting and elocution competitions for school and college students on August 9 and 10 at Tiruvaduthurai Adheenam Mutt on Dhanappa Mudali Street.

Students of VI, VII and VIII standards can recite any two, IX and X standard students any three and Plus One and Plus Two students any four ‘Tirumurai pathigangal.’ Competitions will be held at 10 a.m. on August 9.

The elocution competition will be held at 10 a.m on August 10. Painting competitions will be conducted on the same day. Participants should get the consent of the heads of their educational institutions. For more details, students can call 98430 52938 and 94439 30540.
