Arjun triumphs

BANGALORE: Arjun Roshik Bharat, with nine points from nine rounds, bagged the title in the under-9 section of the fourth World School chess championship at Singapore recently.

The Indian boys’ under-9 team comprising Arjun, Anirudh Bharat and Jerome Ebenezer also won the team gold, while Nihal Manjunath of Mangalore bagged the silver in the under-13 category. — Special Correspondent
