Sounderamani bags five wickets

Coimbatore: K.N. Sounderamani picked up five wickets for 14 runs as host Coimbatore bundled out Puducherry for 141 in its first innings on the opening day of the two-day TNCA under-22 inter district cricket tournament at the SNR Sons College grounds here on Friday. In reply, Coimbatore was 121 for eight.

The scores (pre-quarterfinals): Puducherry 141 in 34.3 overs (K.N. Sounderamani five for 14) vs. Coimbatore 121 for eight in 39 overs (Iyyappan four for 28).
