Blood bank in Sirsi soon

SIRSI: A blood bank will start functioning at the Sirsi Shripad Hegde Kadave Institute of Medical Science, also known as TSS (Totagars Seva Samste) Hospital, by August 15, P.S. Hegde, medical officer in-charge of the blood bank said. It would help meet the emergency needs of people in places such as Sirsi, Siddapur, Yellapur and Mundgod, he said.

The institution had spent Rs. 25 lakh for the building which would house the blood bank, and equipment, Dr. Hegde added.
