Blood donation camp held

TIRUPATTUR: Volunteers of National Service Scheme, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, donated blood at a blood donation camp organised by Additional Primary Health Centre (Athanavoor) and Tirupattur Government Hospital here on Thursday.

Prem Kumar, Deputy Director of Health Services, Tirupattur Health Unit Division, inaugurated the camp. C. Antony Raj, Principal, Sacred Heart College, urged college students to donate blood. Maria Soosai, Vice-Principal, Sacred Heart College, said the Central and State governments should give priority to primary healthcare.
