Niraputhari festival at Sabarimala

Thiruvananthapuram: The Sabarimala temple will open for the ‘niraputhari’ festival at 5.30 p.m. on August 5. The festival will take place the next day. The shrine will be opened at 5 a.m. on that day for the ‘nirmalya darshan’ which will be followed by Ganapathi Homam. ‘Padi puja’ and ‘udayasthamana puja’ will also be performed. The temple will be closed at 10 p.m. the same day.
