Concern over students’ role in terrorism

TUMKUR: M.R. Doreswamy, MLC, has expressed concern over reports of the involvement of medical and engineering students in terrorist acts across the world, and said that the professional education system has many deficiencies.

He was speaking at the inauguration of faculty development workshops organised as part of the 31st series of World Bank-supported technical education quality improvement programmes at the Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT) here on Friday.
