Fashion Festival at Chola Sheraton on August 8 and 9


Fashion Festival will be held at Hotel Chola Sheraton on August 8 and 9 between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. It will bring together 28 budding and established designers from all over the country to welcome the festive season. The fashion extravaganza will feat ure labels from Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai and Goa. Coming to Chennai for the first time from Kolkata are Neha Singh, the plus size designer Rachna Khemani from Niche, Sangietaa Joggani, Vrinda from Shivree, Oxygen Fashions and Bhanu Jhunjhunwala from Tatva.

Raja and Chhuti from Kolkata, Anaya from Delhi, Alpana Shah from Mumbai and Ravina Belani are back with their stylish collections. A range of fabrics with varied design elements is presented by Leena Sanghvi of Else from Kolkata, Sarita Shokeen and Vani Creations from Delhi.

Tulip from Goa unveils its floral light weight collection of tunics in mul cottons.

Saris by Varaa, Aaina, Samaroho and Stree and Kutch embroidered dresses by Saanskrutie, Kantha collection by Tatva, block printed suits by Kalakriti and Sampada complete the clothes range.

Complementing the apparel range are evening clutches, bags, belts and footwear by Adaa from Mumbai. The jewellery section has an impressive assortment of chandelier earrings, pendants and bracelets in western and ethnic style by Gianna and Precious Collection from Mumbai.

Nyassa from Mumbai will unveil its line of natural bath and body products.
