Faculty Development Programme: Applications have been invited from college lecturers for joining M. Phil / PHD programmes as part of the faculty development programme of the University Grants Commission during the 11th Plan period. The applications should reach the office of the Director of the College Development Council - through the Principal concerned - before August 18. MA psychology: The practical of the second semester MA psychology examinations will be held at Government Women’s College on August 8 and at University College on August 11. The examinations will be held from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. The detailed timetable can be had from the examination centre.

M.Sc Chemistry viva: The viva of the fourth semester M.Sc chemistry examinations will be held at various centres from August 8 to 14 from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

MA Tamil: There are a few vacancies for the MA programme at the Department of Tamil. Seats are available in the general, SC and ST categories. Details can be had from the department on phone 0471 - 2418919, 9947175182.

B.Pharm examinations: Applications for the second year B.Pharm (supplementary) examinations beginning August 26 can be submitted without fine till August 7 and with a fine of Rs.50 till August 12. Candidates should pay Rs.200 as CV camp fee along with the regular examination fee.

MA Russian: The final year MA Russian (part time) examinations will be held on August 6, 7, 8, 11 and 12. The date for the viva would be announced later.

BAMS examinations: Applications for the second professional BAMS (supplementary) examinations beginning September 16 can be submitted without fine till August 11, with a fine of Rs.50 till August 18 and with a fine of Rs.250 till August 25. Candidates should pay Rs.200 as CV camp fee in addition to the regular examination fee.

M.Tech vacancies: There are a few vacancies in the SC /ST category for the M.Tech in electronics and communication (Opto-electronics and Optical Communication) at the Department of Opto-electronics. Applications have been invited from candidates interested in getting admission. The last date for submitting applications is August 11. B.Sc Biotechnology: The results of the sixth semester B.Sc Biotechnology (vocational) examinations and the sixth semester B.Sc Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics (vocational) examinations held in April have been published. S. Sherin secured the maximum marks for the B.SC Biotechnology examinations. Applications for revaluation and scrutiny can be submitted till August 30.

B.Sc Physics and Computer Application: The results of the sixth semester B.Sc Physics and Computer Application (restructured) examinations held in April have been published. Mira S. Nair of Government College Kariavattom has secured the maximum marks. Applications for revaluation and scrutiny can be submitted till August 30.

B.Sc Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry: The results of the sixth semester B.Sc Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry (restructured) examinations held in April 2008 have been published. The maximum marks have been secured by Vinu V. Dev. Applications for revaluation and scrutiny can be submitted till August 20.

B.Sc Biological Techniques: The results of the sixth semester B.Sc Biological Techniques and Specimen Preparation (vocational) examinations have been published. Applications for revaluation and scrutiny of the answer sheets can be submitted till August 30.

College change: Applications have been invited from students of the BAMS programme in colleges in the State seeking to study the second year of the course in colleges affiliated to the University of Kerala.

College change will be allowed only between colleges in the same category and whose fee structures are the same.

The application form can be had from the university web site www.keralauniversity.edu. The last date for submitting applications is August 8.

Semester fee: The fee for the third and fifth semesters of various degree courses in the University Institutes of Technology can be submitted without fine till August 18, with a fine of Rs.25 till August 25 and with a fine of Rs.125 till September 2.
