Ashok Leyland July vehicle sales up 11 %

CHENNAI: Ashok Leyland has reported a 11.3 per cent rise in vehicle sales at 6,202 numbers in July against 5,574 numbers in the same month in 2007. Sales of medium and heavy commercial (passenger) vehicles sales in the domestic and export markets were higher at 2,382 numbers against 1,983 and that of M&HCV (goods) at 3,729 numbers against 3,569, according to a release. — Corporate Reporter
