Vienna: Sometimes, ice cream just does not do the trick. In Austria, the broken hearts have a new place to seek solace, a tactic for the lovelorn billed as the country’s first.

Run by a psychologist and a counsellor, the Vienna practice helps people deal with the emotions they experience when all goes wrong.

For €70 a session, patients meet face-to-face with either psychologist Bigit Maurr or counsellor Auguste Storkan to find a way out of their personal predicament. — AP
