Team silver for Nihal

MANGALORE: Nihal Manjunath, a student of Derik’s Chess School (Mangalore), won the under-13 team silver in the World School chess championship along with Patil Pratik and Pranav Zantye.

Nihal secured five points in nine rounds and was placed 13 individually. However, his score helped India pool 16 points in the team tally for the silver. Nihal a 9th Standard student of the Lourdes Central School (Mangalore).
