Canara Bank opens branch in China

BEIJING: Canara Bank on Wednesday opened a branch in China’s economic hub Shanghai, becoming the fourth Indian bank to have branch operations in China. The bank , which had opened a representative office in 2005, had recently received licence from China’s banking regulator for converting it into a full fledged branch.
