Emphatic win for ABSC (Delhi)

BANGALORE: ABSC (Delhi) scored an emphatic 6-2 victory over North Zone in the SAI all-India inter-region senior hockey tournament here on Wednesday. Chandan Aind (5) and Uday Bara (1) scored for ABSC while Dharmendra (2) scored for North Zone.

In another match, Central Zone beat North East Zone 4-1. Ashish Singh Sengar, Badshah Alam, Mohammed Nadeem and Jayakumar scored for Central while Premanand scored for North East Zone.

Amit Bhushan romped into the last four league of the junior billiards State-ranking tournament. He outplayed B. Madan 577-256 at the KSBA hall here on Wednesday. Amit will be joined by Ashish Lunawat, Mansoor Iqbal and Mundir Sherazi in the league stage.
