Tejeswar slams ton

VIJAYAWADA: C.R. Tejeswar’s 116 helped Chittoor post 254 in 84.5 overs against Kurnool in the ACA South Zone u-16 inter-district cricket tournament for A.V. Narasimha Reddy Trophy at Anantapur, according to information reaching here on Wednesday.

In the other match, Nellore, in reply to Anantapur’s 194, was bundled out for 86.

The scores: Chittoor 254 in 84.5 overs (C.R. Tejeswar 116, Saravanan 49, C. Vinod Kumar three for 36) vs. Kurnool 88 for three in 19 overs (Vikram Surya Teja 48).

Anantapur 194 in 56.3 overs (Lakshman 54, K. Swamy 54) vs. Nellore 86 in 40.5 overs (Irfan Basha four for 34).
