Boy bitten by dog

M. Ananda Kumar (3) of Kovalur in Theni district, was admitted to the Government Rajaji hospital here on Wednesday. He is said to have suffered a bite from a rabid dog. His parents took him to a local hospital where he was administered an antiseptic injection as it was felt that it would not be rabid. Following symptoms of rabies, the boy was admitted to the Department of Paediatrics of GRH. — Staff Reporter
