N.Krishnaswamy, film producer and director, writes: The Bengali filmmaker, Tapan Sinha, has won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. In the 1960s, the Tapan Sinha week was organised in Chennai at Saffire complex to showcase his masterpiece films. The picture shows the present Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.Karunanidhi, who inaugurated this week-long fest and celebrities such as B.N.Reddy, K.V.Reddy, Mohan Kumaramangalam, Kalyani Kumaramangalam Linga Moorthy and Hari Babu participated.
