Its members are collecting opinion of people from different parts of the State CHAMARAJANAGAR: President of the Taluk Redrawing Committee M.D. Prakash has said the final report on creation of new taluks in the State will be submitted to the Government in December. He was addressing presspersons after a meeting at Kollegal on Tuesday. He said the committee members were collecting opinion of people from different parts of the State with regard to creation of new taluks. Stating that it was difficult to predict the exact number of new taluks that would be created, Mr. Prakash said that the Government had not imposed any restriction on the committee in this regard. He said that the committee would decide on the number of taluks to be created soon. PleaThe committee members conducted meetings at Hanur and Ramapura to elicit opinion of peoples’ representatives and the public. MLA’s for Kollegal and Hanur constituencies urged the committee members to accord taluk status to Santhemaralli and Hanur. They said that formation of new taluks would facilitate smooth administration in the district. In-charge Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of Chamarajanagar Zilla Panchayat G.
