CAUTIONING COLOUR USAGE: Cinnamon kept for sale in a spices shop. The European Commission (Health and Consumers, Directorate General) has warned the Spices Board in a rapid alert notification to alert Indian importers of Saigon Cinnamon from Vietnam to make sure that the imported consignments are free from non- approved food colour chrysoidine exposure.
