DC’s instructions

DAVANGERE: Tahsildars of different taluks in Davangere district need not attend the public grievances meeting to be held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on the first and last Saturday of every month. Deputy Commissioner K. Amaranarayana told The Hindu here on Friday that he had issued a circular saying that two assistant commissioners would be present on their behalf. The Deputy Commissioner has instructed the tahsildars to hold public grievances meeting at the taluk headquarters and dispose of all applications.
