A psychiatrist gives voice to her feelings

For poetry lovers in Hyderabad, there is a Sunday treat at the Akshara bookstore in Kavuri Hills. Dr Naveena Innaiah, a practising child psychiatrist in the USA, will be reading from her book of poems, Feelings, on August 10 at 6.3 0 p.m. Naveena wrote these poems while she was a medical student. Her book of poems depicts teenage passion, affection and love towards friends. Her imagination can be felt in the poem, Feelings, where she gives expression to the ocean’s attempt to jump into the air and embrace the blue skies above.
