Essay competition for teachers

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Retired Teachers Congress is organising a State-level essay competition for serving and retired teachers in connection with National Teachers Day.

The topic is ‘Nuclear deal necessary for nation’s progress.’ The entries which should not exceed ten foolscap pages should reach K. Radhakrishnan, Essay Competition Committee chairman, Valancherry, Kilimanoor P.O., before August 25. Prizes will be distributed to the winners at the Teachers Day celebrations being held at the Adhyapaka Bhavan here on September 5. – Special Correspondent
