KOZHIKODE: Kiran George beat Govind Baskar 21-5, 21-10 and entered the boys’ under-10 singles semifinals of the Savitri Devi Saboo Memorial State junior ranking badminton tournament at the V.K. Krishna Menon Indoor Stadium here on Friday.

The results: Boys: Under-10 (semifinals): Kiran George bt Govind Bhaskar 21-5, 21-10; Govind bt Vipin Das 21-7, 21-15; Ivan John bt Sharath 21-7, 21-4; Kiran w/o Kartik Patel; Amruth Bhaskar w/o Pranay Saboo.

Girls (semifinals): Shreya Bose bt S.V. Anugraha 21-4, 21-2; Adithya Binoy bt V. Uthara 21-7, 21-3.
