Prolonged bleeding

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Haemophilics have prolonged bleeding either internally or externally. Though the common internal bleeding sites are joints and muscles, intracranial bleeds such as brain bleeds are life threatening. The external bleeds include small cuts, wounds, abrasions, and bruises. Deficiency of one or more of the 10 clotting factors in the blood cause the disorder, doctors said.
