Easwaramoorthy stuns Shravan

Erode: Local hope Easwaramoorthy upset title contender and India’s top-ranked junior star Shravan Motha 22-88, 23-91, 61-49, 77-28, 10-62, 55-50, 56-48 and entered the quarterfinal of the fifth Chinthamani Memorial open snooker tournament at the S.S. Sports Academy, here on Saturday.

S. Surendran of Erode scored another yet another upset of sorts defeating Tamil Nadu’s sixth-ranked player Vijay Nichani of Coimbatore 68-34, 48-63, 57-38, 34-65, 48-37, 64-50 for a place in the last eight.
