SBI officers plan strike

New Delhi: Protesting the proposed merger of State Bank of Saurashtra with its parent bank SBI, over 80,000 officers owing allegiance to the All-India State Bank Officers’ Federation will go on a nationwide strike on August 18. It also threatend that its members along with their counterparts of associate banks would launch an indefinite strike in September. — PTI
