NAGAPATTINAM: All fishermen from Nagapattinam arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy on August 9 will be released and handed over to the Coast Guard on Tuesday (August 12). Official sources told The Hindu on Monday that the fishermen, who ventured into the sea from Nagapattinam on August 7, were scheduled to return to the shore on August10. After their colleagues informed the district administration, a search was conducted and it was found that they had been arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy.
