Varman in lead

Rajapalayam: Vasantha Ruba Varman of Chennai (6.5 points) emerged the sole leader defeating the overnight joint leader D.S. Shashank, also of Chennai, at the end of the seventh round in the boys’ section of the 21st TN State under-13 chess championship here on Monday.
