ASC triumphs

BANGALORE: ASC (Boys) beat St. Joseph’s Indian High School 4-2 via tie-breaker to lift the T. Shanmugham Memorial inter-school hockey tournament conducted by the Karnataka State Hockey Association here on Monday. Shrikanth, Shanrev Babu, B. Bhengra and Balasubramaniam scored for the winning side and Ganapathy and Sumeeth for the loser.

In the inter-college tournament, Al Ameen College beat Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain College 1-0 with Birju scoring the solitary goal.
