Minor arrested in murder case

NEW DELHI: A minor has been arrested in connection with the murder of a middle-aged woman at Narela here this past week.

According to the police, Reeta Dubey had been staying in a rented house at Narela for the past several years along with her family. Her daughter was romantically involved with their neighbour Atul Pandey. Though Reeta and her husband Brijesh did not object to their relationship, Atul’s family was against the two getting married.

On August 6, Atul’s younger brother entered into an altercation with Reeta over the issue and allegedly shot the woman.
