NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi on Tuesday announced a cash reward of Rs.5 lakh for shooter Abhinav Bindra who has become India’s first individual gold medallist at the Olympics. The MCD House passed a resolution on Tuesday lauding Abhinav’s achievement of clinching the gold in 10m air rifle event in the Beijing Olympics. The House also decided to name either a flyover or a road under-bridge after him.
