Cultural show on August 19

PALAKKAD: Swaralaya will present ‘Rhythm,’ a cultural mega show by Soorya Film and Theatre Society, at the Town Hall here on August 19.

The programme is a ‘jugalbandi’ between ‘Fusions of Dance and Music by 50 Artists.’

It is directed by Soorya Krishnamoorthy.

Participants

Leading artistes, including Mattannur Sankarankutty (chenda), Attukal Balasubramonian (violin), Alappuzha Karunamoorthy (tavil), M.S.Lavanya (saxaphone), Jaijith (keyboard), Malamari Sasi (drums), Palakkad Mahesh (mridangam), Sudha Ranjith (vocals).

Dance

Mythily Prakash (Bharathanatyam),Madhu Gopinath, Sajiv and team of Samundra (contemporary dance), Kathak Kendra Delhi Team (Kathak), Mythily and Team of Mithilalaya (Bharathanatyam & Mohiniyattam), will participate in the event
