300 Onam markets in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: Co-operative societies in the district will operate 300 Onam markets from August 15 to September 15 to sell 31 essential commodities. The decision was taken at a meeting of the presidents and secretaries of co-operative societies here on Wednesday. The meeting was inaugurated by District Panchayat president Subaida Isahaq and presided over by District Co-operative Bank president K.V. Ramakrishnan. — Staff Reporter
