Major accident averted

VIZIANAGARAM: A major accident at an unmanned level-crossing near Donkinavalasa village in Badangi mandal in the district was averted on Wednesday when the passenger train from Koraput to Visakhapatnam hit a truck laden with LPG cylinders. According to Badangi police, the engine hit the rear portion of the truck when the truck driver Srinivas was about to cross the track. -Correspondent
