Project oustees meet district Collector

VIZIANAGARAM: Families displaced by the Peddagedda and Thotapalli projects have said that they received raw deal in the relief and rehabilitation package. Many families led by CPI (M) secretary M. Krishna Murty on Thursday visited the Collector’s office to submit individual representations.

N. Prakash, sarpanch, and T. Ananda Rao, MPTC member, said only 42 families out of 127 under Thotapalli project were declared project-affected.
